Pricing questions

We bill monthly or annually in USD, exclusive of local tax. Annual is two months free, ten months paid for twelve months of service, billed upfront. GST, VAT, and sales tax are added at checkout by Stripe Tax based on your registered business address. Card and ACH are both supported. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time. Monthly to annual takes effect at your next renewal.
One monitor watches one customer email journey. A welcome series is one monitor. An order confirmation flow is one monitor. A weekly newsletter is one monitor. Each monitor gets its own Telltide-issued address that you add to your sending platform's recipient list, plus an attribution flag for whether the campaign is human-built, agent-built, or mixed. Monitor counts are hard caps on every plan, not metered overages, so the bill never moves on its own.
Yes. Upgrading takes effect immediately and is pro-rated against your current bill. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal date, so you keep the higher limits for the rest of the cycle you have already paid for. If you downgrade past a monitor cap, the newest monitors are paused, not deleted, and they restore the moment you upgrade again.
Starter offers a 14-day trial. The trial requires a card on file and unlocks the full Starter feature set, including the wallet card and the 7-monitor allowance. On day 15 the trial converts to the paid rate unless you cancel. The Detection Guarantee 90-day window starts on day 15, not on day 1, so the trial does not consume guarantee coverage. If you want a no-card-on-file path, the Free plan is the right starting point.
No, and that is deliberate. Pro adds SMS, role permissions, an SLA, and shared-Slack support. Those four lines need a 20-minute call before purchase so we can confirm fit and set up the SMS sender and role model correctly the first time. The call is consultative, not a pitch. If you would rather start on Growth and move up after a month of use, that path is open and the lifetime lock follows you on the plan you start on.
